Will I still need to submit journal entries in Workday?

Journal entries are still possible in Workday and will automatically route to the Finance Department for review and approval. Because Workday is configured so that you can more easily select the correct cost centers (formerly “orgs”) and spend categories (formerly “accounts”), it is expected here will be a decreased need for journal entries.
