Add an email account to your iPhone or iPad

We expect you to do the following

  • Password protect your device
  • Power On password
  • Inactivity Timer password
  • Encrypt your device, if possible
  • Update your device with operating system updates as those updates become available
  • NOTIFY THE COLLEGE SERVICE DESK (561-868-3100) IMMEDIATELY IF YOUR DEVICE IS LOST OR STOLEN

By adding email to your mobile device, you agree to allow the College to remotely wipe out all data on your device if you report the device lost or stolen.  You also agree to remove all College accounts and data from the device if you no longer use the device to access College information.

Existing mobile device users

  1. Remove your existing Palm Beach State email account from your phone
  2. Tap Settings (Gray gear icon)
  3. Scroll down to Accounts & Passwords
  4. Tap Exchange, (or the name you've given your PBSC mail account)
  5. Scroll down and tap Delete Account (this appears in red letters)
  6. Tap Delete from my iPhone - please note that this does not delete your email just the information stored on your phone
  7. Go back to the previous screen by tapping the Accounts gray arrow
  8. Add the account using the following the steps below.

New mobile device users

  1. Tap Settings (gray gear icon)
  2. Tap Accounts & Passwords
  3. Tap Add Account
  4. Tap Exchange
  5. Enter your Palm Beach State email address and password. You may also add a description of the account
  6. Enter your password
  7. Tap Next
  8. ​​​​If you are prompted to enter server settings, enter the following and then tap Next       
  • Server: outlook.office365.com
  • Domain (optional): pbcc_admin1

       7. Save, You email will begin to load on the phone
