Cisco AnyConnect is the application used to connect to wireless networks. It is installed on all college provided laptops. The instructions below will provide the steps on how to connect to WiFi using Cisco AnyConnect On or Off campus.
Cisco AnyConnect takes over your built-in Windows wireless connection services. You must use Cisco AnyConnect to connect to wireless networks.

If you try to connect using the built-in Windows wireless connection services. You will get the error message "can't connect to this network".

Connect off campus:
1. Double-click on the Cisco AnyConnect icon in your taskbar as shown below and confirm that WiFi is enabled.


2. If WiFi is disabled, click on the menu button and Enable Wireless.

3. A new window will open. In the drop-down list, select a wireless network.

4. A new window will open. This screen asks for information about the wireless network.
- In the Descriptive Name field, enter a name that describes the network. This could be "Home" or "Work".
- The SSID is the name of the network.
- If there is a password for the wireless network, enter it in the "Key" field.

5. Once you enter the required information, press OK. If the network is available it will automatically connect.
Connect on campus:
Palm Beach State College laptops automatically connect to the wireless networks.
