How to use the Snipping Tool in Windows

The Snipping Tool is a great way to do screen capture in Windows 10 or Windows 7. These are useful for attaching to Team Dynamix tickets to help us understand your Workday or other issue.

You can find the snipping tool in Windows 7 by hitting the Start Button and typing in Snipping Tool in the Find box.

In Windows 10, click the start button (Windows symbol in the bottom tool bar) and it should be in the default apps:

Click the Snipping Tool icon and the app will open, showing a small menu on your screen.

Click the New item; your screen will have a white "haze" - you can then draw a box with your mouse around the part of the screen you want to screen shot.

If the snipping tool is in your way, you can move it with your mouse.
