Clearing Auto-Complete Cache In Outlook

To clear auto-complete cache for individual users:

  • In Outlook, open a new email and start typing the email address in the "To…" field. To clear the email address from cache click the 'X' next to the email address.

Note: If you have already written an email to this person then the email address will auto-populate.

Select the X next to the email address

To clear all auto-complete entries:

  • Select the File tab

  • Select Options

Select Options

  • Select Mail then scroll down to the "Send messages" section and select the "Empty Auto-Complete List" option. This will clear all auto-complete entries.

Select Mail then select Empty Auto Complete List
