Do I have to rehire my student worker(s) every semester?

No.  Student workers will remain in Workday until they are terminated by the manager.  If a student is no longer working in your department, the manager will need to terminate.  Student employment eligibility is based on the financial aid award year which begins in the Fall term and ends following Summer term.  Students need to re-apply for Financial Aid each award year by completing a FAFSA to determine eligibility.
