Why can I not register for classes?

If when registering for an Academic Period, a student is unable to register for a course section, they should check the following:

• That they have no holds

• Are within their Registration Appointment window.

• Required Placement Scores have been received and processed by PBSC.

• Required Pre-requisites have been satisfied.

If after checking the above a student is still unable to register, it is highly recommended that they make an appointment with their Academic Advisor. If prior to their appointment with their Academic Advisor a student would like to self-service investigate a potential registration error, they can run the Troubleshoot Registration - report in Workday.

 

NOTE: This function will become available for students in Workday beginning with Fall 2021 registration.
